The future of leadership is evolving to embrace feminine energy styles, irrespective of gender. Qualities like empathy, nurturing, and kindness are what upcoming generations will expect of their leaders. Gen Z is actively developing their emotional intelligence as they prioritize self-care, going to therapy, and authenticity – this will impact how we work – and leaders need to evolve.

Technology can aid in democratizing the workplace, but it also carries biases, like “women’s winter” or phones that are too large for smaller hands. Qualities coded as traditionally “feminine” will fuel product development to address these biases for a more inclusive future. You don’t need to “act like a man” to succeed – the future is female!
