Flo Nicolas, Esq., is a lawyer and technology thought leader with over a decade of experience in technology operations. She is a passionate advocate for promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and serves as the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of DEI Directive, a technology company offering a comprehensive DEI Intelligence Platform for HR and DEI professionals. This platform empowers them to monitor and measure the impact of their initiatives through data analytics.
Flo’s expertise extends beyond technology and DEI. She co-hosted ContractsCon Miami and will continue as the co-host of ContractsCon Las Vegas, a global contracts drafting and negotiating training conference. In addition to her professional endeavors, Flo is the creator and host of two TV shows in New Hampshire: “Get Tech Smart,” which educates viewers about tech innovations, and “Get Resource Smart,” which spotlights organizations providing essential community resources.
As an alumna of the LinkedIn Accelerator Program: Technology and Innovation, Flo Nicolas created innovative tech content highlighting diverse women in technology and legal tech worldwide. Her advocacy extends to important causes, including access to STEAM education for all, women in tech, and diversity in tech. Her impactful work has earned her recognition, including the prestigious NH Business Review Outstanding Women in Business 2023 award, the NH Tech Alliance Tech Professional of the Year 2023 title, and her selection as a TEDx Speaker, further amplifying her influence.
Notably, Flo Nicolas was nominated and selected for the ABA Legal Technology Resource Center’s distinguished Women of Legal Tech list for 2023, an annual acknowledgment of women standing out in the legal tech field. This recognition is incredibly important on a global scale, with only 11 honorees chosen by a panel of legal tech experts.
In addition to her professional commitments, Flo actively engages in philanthropy, volunteering on multiple boards, including the New Hampshire PBS Advisory Committee, New Hampshire Business for Social Responsibility, and the New Hampshire Tech Alliance Workforce Committee. She mentors underrepresented tech and legal professionals and hosts DEI Networking events in New Hampshire, fostering community engagement, collaboration, and inclusivity. Her dedication to driving positive change extends to every aspect of her career and personal life.
