If you’re attending Women in Tech Boston next week (if not, what are you waiting for?), you should have now received your instructions on how to access and download the official Event App!

The Event App is your official companion to attending the event and to help you get set up, we’ve highlighted some key tips to make sure you’re making the most of the event app features.

  • Build your profile

Firstly, complete your profile including a profile photo detailing your current professional experience, interests, bio, and social accounts for others to follow you on. If you’re looking for a new job, you can even upload a CV to your profile! The more you complete your profile, the more likely you are to make new connections at the event.

  • Engage with the community!

Break the ice and introduce yourself to the community so that others can get to know you! You can also interact with other attendees using their icebreakers as a way to start speaking with them. You can also organize your own meet-ups at and around the event so you can start making some connections organically. Invite other attendees to the hotel bar for a pre-event day drink or organize a function-specific get-together during the event itself! The more you engage with the community, the more points you’ll score placing you higher up in the Leaderboard and in with the chance to win a special prize!

  • Create your own personalized agenda

Use the agenda tab to find all of the sessions that are available to you. Click the calendar icon on the right-hand side of sessions or click ‘Add to My Agenda’ to save the session and set reminders to let you know when the session is about to start! Any saved sessions and pre-booked sessions such as the workshops will show up within the ‘My Agenda’ section. Got a burning question already? Submit them using the Q&A function!

  • Search through our Sponsors

Women in Tech Boston will feature some of the most innovative organizations in our Exhibition and Networking area! This is your exclusive opportunity to build relationships with them and potentially even land a future role. Check out our Exhibitors to learn more about them and participate in any giveaways they might be offering at the event!

  • Identify new job opportunities

Hopefully, by now, you’ve already uploaded your CV to your profile but if you’d prefer just a casual search, you can find a list of job opportunities from our sponsors within the Jobs Openings section of the Community page. You can submit your interest to find out more about the role before proceeding or even share with someone you think might be a better fit!

If you have yet to receive instructions, be sure to check your junk/spam with further instructions on how to download the event app, or contact us now and we’ll resend instructions to you as soon as possible.

Please note that in order to gain access to the event app, you will need to be a confirmed attendee with a purchased ticket to Women in Tech Boston 2023. If you have yet to register, do so now before time runs out! Limited quantities available.
