We\u2019re on the lookout for some superstar volunteers who will be able to help us during the event days to pull together an incredible event for the community!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can apply to become a volunteer at this year\u2019s event to be in with the chance to support our mission, get an exclusive behind the scenes sneak peek to what it takes to operate an event like Women in Tech Boston and we\u2019ll offer you a complimentary ticket to be able to attend the event for both days of the event!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Who is eligible to volunteer?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Typically, anyone is eligible to volunteer who is 18+. We\u2019ve had everyone from students to tech veterans. All volunteers are considered through an application process. Volunteers will be expected to be based in Boston, MA during the event days (October 2 &#8211; 3).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>What time commitment is required?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A full agenda and schedule will be confirmed with you in advance of the event but we\u2019ll work with you to ensure that you\u2019re able to attend sessions and participate in networking opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>What will be expected of me as a volunteer?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will have various roles available throughout the two days and we will supply you with details and confirm the role with you prior to the event. We will endeavor to split times to provide opportunities for volunteers to participate in the event as attendees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Roles and responsibilities can include but are not limited to:-<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Registration and attendee check-in\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Attendee direction<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Speaker assistance<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Badge scanning<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Session check-in<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you\u2019re interested in volunteering and supporting Women in Tech Boston then apply to become a volunteer now by completing <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/women-in-tech-boston.com\/register-to-volunteer\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>this form<\/strong><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by September 1 and a member of the team will be in touch with you!<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Want to attend Women in Tech Boston 2023 but aren\u2019t able to get your company to support you to attend?
