Speaker Bio
Jaime Waydo is the Chief Technology Officer at WHOOP where she drives technology and innovation that’s dedicated to helping people achieve their health and wellness goals and unlock human performance. She has over 20 years of leadership experience across engineering, product, operations, regulatory and safety functions. Her experience includes an impressive track record at leading tech companies including Apple and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
Prior to WHOOP, Jaime served as co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Cavnue, focused on making autonomous driving a reality. At Apple, she led the autonomous systems effort through a tenfold improvement in one year. Before Apple, Jaime was a systems engineer at Waymo where she developed the safety strategy for launching driverless vehicles. A difference maker from day one, Jaime began her career as a mechanical engineer, leading development for the Mars Curiosity Rover that launched in 2011.
Fun Fact: I once tried out for the Laker Girls (National Basketball Association Cheerleading squad).
